Why to Be Happy

The words of the carol still resonate in my ears and bring smile to my being. The world is that beautiful. The life is really that beautiful and simple:

If you were to come and try to convince me how cruel life is and that how difficult it is to survive. I would share, with you, what I call Being Bird Experience.

“…Look at the birds, they never sow, never irrigate and never harvest. Still they are fed. If God your Lord can take care of those birds, why’d he leave you hungry…”
-Christ (* I don’t remember the exact words but that is what they meant)

We are meant to be happy; we are born to be happy. If these statements bring up fear or any other negative emotions, notice them. What is it? Are you feeling fear? Why are you afraid of being happy? Were you, as a child, taught ‘Don’t laugh or you will have to cry…’? Or is it anger? Why are you angry on thought of being angry? Who was angry when you were happy, as a child? Notice it and let go. Past has no power over you. The point of power is in the present movement.

If you still find it difficult to accept that you are meant to be happy and that you are born to be happy. Think again! What are you living for? Is it a necessary evil? Why are you reading this? What are you earning for? What is answer to all these questions if not ‘seeking happiness’?

More than half of what we do is for happiness. Even the charity we do is for happiness (If charity doesn’t bring you happiness, than it defies the whole purpose!). So take time, smile… can’t? Alright! Just fake it! Yea like that! And keep it there for 20 secs… And see the happiness rising to surface… Let all other emotions pass away you are not earning for them! You are earning for happiness! Be happy for the money you earned till this day! Or all the money you manifested to spend, till this movement. It’s time to be happy for all that.
